Tuesday Night Trivia: Star Wars Edition is coming to the Bourbon! Tony Solo and and his right-hand wookie, ChewBobca, will take you on a journey through the galaxy to test your strength in the Force with questions about the universe of starfighters, droids, jawas and bounty hunters.

For one night only, the Bourbon Bar will become a wretched hive of scum and villainy. More fun than picking up power converters at Tosche Station!!!

This St. Patrick’s Day we have plenty o’ fun in store for you in The Bourbon as well as the main theater. Our resident leprechaun Simon Kornelis will be up front in the bar with a few friends to start the festivities off at 8pm. We’re having a few food and drink specials including as well for those craving some traditional Irish fare:

Corned Beef Sandwich, chips or salad and a Guinness tall boy – $15

If so, you will be right at home in The Bourbon tonight as Tony and Bob take you on a journey through the cosmos with our Sci-Fi edition of Tuesday Trivia Night. There’ll be daleks and droids, cylons and sarlaccs, Boba Fett and The Borg, and much much more. All day happy hour is in effect and there will prizes for the winning team. So grab your fellow nerds and boldly go to the Bourbon tonight for a galactic good time. 8pm.

Thursday: Simon & Ben (in The Bourbon), Davidson Hart Kingsbery, Norman Baker & the Backroads (video premiere), The Crying Shame

We have quite a jam-packed weekend of events kicking off Thursday with Simon & Ben entertaining in The Bourbon for the opening of a new art installation featuring the work of Zak Alexander. Come in early tonight and see Zak’s art while Simon and Ben perform for you before the show in theater begins. - 7pm // Free

After enjoying some tunes in The Bourbon head on back to the Theater for three amazing acts of roots, rock and folk. Davidson Hart Kingsbery headlines the night and Norman Baker & the Backroads will be premiering two new music videos during their set. Here’s one of the videos that was recently released:

Opening up the show will be The Crying Shame who’s music has been described as decribed as gothic/orchestral/folk/americana. It should be an amazing night.

Friday: Betsy Olson, The Golden Blondes, Carrie Biell

Betsy Olson continues the weekend with her gritty power blues joined by another friend of theater, Sera Cahoone, on drums. The Golden Blondes play main support complimenting the headliner with their own brand of dirty rock sprinkled with catchy hooks and Carrie Biell opens the night with her sweet velvety voice backed by a band of classic country players.

Saturday: Balmorhea, Benoit Pioulard, Tiny Vipers

The weekend ends with bang as the Austin, TX based Balmorhea wow you with their epic compositions. This instrumental ensemble tells stories through mood and emotion more vividly than most bands do with lyrics. Benoit Pioulard follows suit with dreamlike soundscapes that will enthrall you with his hypnotic voice, used more as an accompanying instrument than anything else. Opening will be Tiny Vipers, the gorgeous and delicate solo project by Jesy Fortino of Seattle. Her ambient folk music goes beyond expectations and is sure to captivate the room.

We are very excited to have Seattle’s own Schooner EXACT Brewery feature their amazing beers at our first Beer in the Bourbon Brewer’s Night this Thursday, February 24. Get a chance to meet and talk to Matt, Heather and Mike from Schooner EXACT and taste the delicious Hoppy the Woodsman and their other fine beers.

In addition to the great tasting drinks, Simon Kornelis and Ben Hunter will provide music for the evening as they do every second and fourth Thursday of the month.

It’s going to be a night of great beer and great music. The event starts at 7pm.

Friday: A Tribute to Gram Parsons hosted by Country Dave and the New Fallen Angels

We have an incredible lineup paying tribute to the country, folk and rock legend Gram Parsons this Friday. In his tragically short 26 years of life, Gram Parsons influenced generations of musicians with his work in The Flying Burrito Brothers, The Byrds and his own solo recordings.

Country Dave and the New Fallen Angels will host this star studded evening which will include performances by Zoe Muth, Tom Bennett from The Rolling Blackouts along with Melissa Nyffeler, David Russell and Jon Hyde from The One Uppers.

Saturday: Cotillion: A Variety Show Benefit for Childhaven

Hosted by Diva le Deviant, Saturday’s show will feature music by Zum Zum Samba, Show Brazil and Flip N Fly and performances by Iva Handful, Miss J9 Fierce, An Magi, Madisun Avenue & much much more!

The evening is a benefit for Childhaven, an amazing organization dedicated to help victims of child abuse. So come support a very worthy cause and enjoy these amazing performers.

Sunday: SunDate with Michel Navedo in the Bourbon

Valentine’s Day comes one day early this year as Sunday marks the first night of our new weekly entertainment in the Bourbon – SunDate with Michel Navedo. One of our favorite musicians in town, Michel Navedo will create a romantic atmosphere for you and a special someone to enjoy some amazing food and drink specials. Every Sunday we will be offering a draft beer, house wine or well drink, an appetizer of salad, and two entrees of your choice all for $30.

Relive the Saturday mornings of your childhood as Quizmaster Tony and his trusty sidekick Bob take you through the worlds of Ducktales, Pound Puppies and The REAL Ghostbusters. Tonight’s Tuesday Trivia Night will be all about cartoons! Knowing Tony there will be a glut of obscure 80′s animated nostalgia on hand and more than a few Simpsons questions.

I just hope one of the rounds focuses on music because now I’ve got all these theme songs stuck in my head.

Attention all world travelers and lovers of far away lands: tonight’s theme for Tuesday Night Trivia is Around the World in Three Rounds: International Edition.

Quizmaster Tony Kay will take you on a factoid voyage to foreign locales and exotic cultures. Any place on the planet is fair game – Tanzania, Indonesia, Canada – so be prepared for anything.

We’ve got happy hour prices all day and delicious food to fuel your brain so head on down to the Bourbon by 8pm when the fun kicks off. You might want to cram in a little BBC first, though.

There’s only one host in town qualified to handle this week’s Tuesday Night Trivia theme: Magic, Strangeness and Oddities! Tony Kay’s lifelong obsession with the peculiar and bizarre will make for a night that will test your knowledge of the fringes of pop culture.

The Bourbon will be opening it’s door’s early tomorrow for the playoff game no one thought would happen. The Seattle Seahawks are taking on the Chicago Bears and you can watch it all on our giant screen while enjoying nachos, chicken wings and $5 pitchers. After watching the Hawks’ thrilling victory stick around to see the Jets face the Patriots for the second game of tomorrow’s playoffs.

The Bourbon will be open at 10am.
