serves up savory harmonies in the form of original tunes as well as some alt-folk and bluesy covers. The music, written by Stacy Powell, focuses on universal themes of love and heartache, hope and regret and occasionally chickens. Karen Hovde joins her on guitar and vocals with Tad Buhman on mandolin to form the core of the band.
RGK, a new guitar player and vocalist on the Seattle music scene, has more often than not been found within the company of bands than as a solo act. After leading The Small Axe Ensemble, a 7-person group in Northern California with two fulls albums of material, his music found its new home in Seattle. Often playing with the rock band The Alternative Facts, RGK has recently begun refining his 10+ years of band leading and song writing experience to honing an intimate solo performance. Combining the aesthetics of singer/songwriter styles with the intensity learned from years of leading rock bands, RGK has created a unique music presentation not to be missed.
